What is the Heinrich Neuhaus school of Russian pianism? I read, long time ago, Neuhaus’ book on piano playing, know of some of Heinrich Neuhaus’ famous pupils (Richter, Gilels, Lupu…), but never heard of his school of pianism before. It’s never too late to learn new things.

Lev Shugom studied with Benditsky who was Henrich Neihous student. There’re a reflection of HN on everyone who in line to him. HN didn’t have any pedagogical system, but lo.ng lasting image.

  • esfir ross says:

Radu Lupu didn’t studied with Henrich Neuhous because he was ill and died soon. Radu Lupu studied with Stanislav Neuhous and later denounce his training in Moscow conservatory
