Concern as Dmitry Hvorostovsky cancels Dublin

The Russian baritone has pulled out of his upcoming Dublin date ‘due to a change in the schedule for his cancer treatments.’

The hall website says: ‘Please note that the upcoming concert by baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky with pianist Ivari Ilja scheduled for Saturday, 29th April 2017 at the National Concert Hall has been cancelled.’

Hvorostovsky is still going ahead with his April 25 Toronto concert, where he will be partnered by Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov.
