No Boulez? What a disgrace! Especially because he died in Germany! The words “cultural” and “intellectual” could not have a better application than to Boulez. For that matter, Harnoncourt should have been listed as well.
Apparently, they had room for Bowie, Cohen, and Michael. Maybe Boulez wasn’t intellectual enough.
