We hear that David Blackadder, principal trumpet of the Academy of Ancient Music, has been told that the trumpets he had stolen from him on Monday on a London commuter train have been found safe and (soon to be) sound.

  • Eric says:

Good news. The result of a cunning plan, perhaps…

  • Neville Young says:

    Phew. Blimey David.

  • Sue Tomes says:

Dear David. I just watched you playing at the royal wedding. You were amazing and I felt proud to know you.
Can you tell me if you were playing one of Frank’s trumpets?
It looked like a Tomes trumpet but of course it may not have been.
I would be interested to hear from you.
