Drinks are on Serge Dorny

The state of Saxony today gave up its appeal against a court ruling that the Belgian intendant was unfairly dismissed by the state opera before he had spent a day in the job.

Dorny got his previous job back in Lyon.

But he can now seek Saxon compensation of up to 1.5 million Euros.

    It won’t be the last time a bunch of self-important ‘untouchables’ play fast and loose with taxpayers’ money. They should be required to pay all costs themselves.

    It seems to me that in fact all of Serge Dorny’s drinks and quite a lot of his food will be on Saxony and by extention of the Länderfinanzausgleich on the rest of Germany for many years to come. But what the heck, it is only taxpayer’s money, and as always, nobody is personally responsable.

      Oh well, Dorny doesn’t check on whose tax money he’s abusing… German, French, it’s all the same to him….
