Opera stars in cycle race from Glasgow to London
mainThe Scottish tenor Nicky Spence has rounded up some of his busiest stage partners to raise £25,000 for the charity Help Musicians UK.
Ailish Tynan, Nicky Spence, Mary Bevan, Louise Alder and more will pump their legs from Glasgow to London, starting July 24 and winding up with a performance on the steps of the London Coliseum on 31 July.
They’re calling it SongCycle (geddit?).
