The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation has given $275,000 to classical and jazz composer Wayne Horvitz.

Out of the blue.

Free to do with as he pleases.

    Good for him…. One of these one-off miracles which have not happened since King Ludwig of Bavaria opened his purse to Wagner. Now we have to wait for some real master pieces, which will be celebrated all over the world, and will take their place in the repertoire.

        Yes, she was unique. I wonder: why are all those biljonairs, which are around nowadays, not interested to invest a bit in the arts, in music?

        Someone like mr Trump would have done better to direct his interests in the arts instead of politics: in the arts, he could have his name be remembered as something positive.
