The orchestra is an Abbado creation.

May as well become a volunteer music director of EUYO.
He deserves it. He is a very fine conductor.
That I’m afraid is a matter of opinion. Last time I heard him conduct Mahler it was dire.
I avoid him like the plague.
He conducted a superb Tristan a week ago in Paris.
