The Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchesters Berlin (RSB) has named Adrian Jones as its new director.

Jones, 49, is a former orchestral cellist who learned the business working for the CAMI agency in Berlin.

For the past five years he has been director of the orchestra at Deutsche Oper Berlin.

The RSB, founded 1923, is Berlin’s second-oldest symphony orchestra.
