The highly-regarded former head of the Munich Academy of Music and Theater am Gasteig has been charged with sexual harassment of two women students.

Siegfried Mauser, 61, will appear in court on Wednesday.

He denies the charges, which are alleged to have taken place four and seven years ago.

One of the women is said to have been so shocked by the assault she crashed her bike and was injured while fleeing Professor Mauser’s office.

Full story here.

Prof. Mauser is presently in Salzburg, as head of its Biennale.
