Hvorostovsky goes on tour with Russian orchestra
mainThe Siberian baritone, undergoing treatment for brain cancer, starts a four-concert tour this weekend to central Europe with the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Dmitri Liss.
He will appear at Budapest Béla Bartók National Concert Hall (April 2), Musikverein Graz (April 6), Vienna Konzerthaus (April 9) and at the Bruckner Haus in Linz (April 12).
What a *great* clip!
Hope to get to one of the Austrian concerts.
The combination of the soloists, conductor, and the orchestra is close to ideal.
