The Saxon government has paid an undisclosed sum for Robert Schumann’s sketches for his first piano trio, offered for sale by a US dealer.

  • Jennifer says:

The SLUB has a nice online presentation of this manuscript. The first image links to a digital version of the sketches. See: https://www.slub-dresden.de/sammlungen/musik/musik-spezialthemen/robert-und-clara-schumann/

  • Hilary says:

His handwriting is a bit hard to read.
