Comes, I surmise, from playing the same Tarrega studies over and over.

  • Mark Marcus says:

Isn’t it ironic? Attention deficit disorder was my excuse for being unable to master classical guitar. I had no idea robbing banks could be so therapeutic!

  • Alvaro says:

Two months ago a Juilliard Cellist was detained in NY with THREE HUNDRED (300) kilos of Marihuana!! And in spite of personally sending the news, this blog did not consider it important information.

But when it is a guitarist?

In SPb Conservatory (one of its first graduates was Pyotr Tchaikovsky, then Rimsky-Korsakov, Prokofiev, Schostakovich etc) where I’ve been studying, there was a legend which appears to be the truth, about criminal band of students who were acting in 80-s. There were 3 young musicians, the girl pianist, and two boys – percussionist and cellist. They also robbed savings banks and they were arrested.

  • Marg says:

Has to be the most novel line of defence I’ve ever heard!
