This may be the most exciting thing to happen to the little kingdom since it lost the leadership of the Holy Roman Empire.

Last night,  Angélique Kidjo , the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg and Gast Waltzing  won a Grammy in the World Music Category.

Well, all hail the little king of Luxembourg then, I suppose.

  • Halldor says:

    It’s a Grand Duchy, not a kingdom.
    Big difference.

  • Sebastian says:

Great moment for Gast Waltzing whose contribution to jazz education and performance in this part of Europe is huge. He set up the Conservatoire’s jazz programme in the face of quite some resistance back in the 80s and has been a major guiding spirit ever since. Many congratulations to one of the good guys!
