London’s Wigmore Hall has announced its first live-streamed concert.

It takes place on Thursday 28 January 2016, together with the hall’s 2016/17 Season Launch, followed by performances from Berlin’s Armida Quartet, soprano Anna Lucia Richter with pianist Michael Gees, and baritone Andrè Schuen with pianist Daniel Heide.

    This is great news!

  • Sam McElroy says:

Amazing news! I would very happily pay an annual subscription to tune in the way I do with the Berlin Phil. I think streaming can only grow the hall’s audience. Bring on the Wigmore Hall App….!

Talk about understatement and non-information on the website!
http://wigmore-hall.org.uk/wigmore-hall-live/live-stream is the website for the livestream and all it says that the next event is Jan. 28, 2016 at 8 p.m. Nothing more. If you go to the calender of events, only the lunchtime concert at 1 p.m. is listed.
Seriously suggest they get their act together and at least publicize it on the internet! It is certainly not enough to just have the press release buried at the bottom of the credits
