Anastasia Boudanoque has quit CAMI to go solo.

Formerly agent for the fashion violinist Ray Chen and the Chinese conductor Long Yu, it’s not clear whether she’ll be taking artists from the crumbling CAMI megastore. Her launch artists include the pianist Dmitry Masleev, eclipsed winner of the 2015 Tchaikovsky Competition, and the well-connected violinist Dmitry Sitkovetsky.

Primavera Consulting will, the press release says, focus on high-end classical entertainment events and consulting performing arts organizations globally. The company will also represent a select roster of artists, reinforcing traditional personal talent management with digital and social media, endorsement opportunities, as well as educational and charitable initiatives.

Her announcement is adorned with endorsements from Long Yu and Christoph Eschenbach.

    What is a fashion violinist?

  • Tempo Allegretto says:

Crumbling CAMI megastore? Agents have been leaving CAMI for decades – either to join other agencies or to go on their own. So, nothing new here, and no need to assume that they are crumbling.

  • Nick says:

If she does not represent Long Yu worldwide, she’s going to get little commission from him! His four major jobs in China don’t give him many weeks die other engagements!

  • Sarah Sans says:

Fashion violinist? He’s a former 1st prize winner at the Menuhin & Queen Elisabeth Competitions and has one of the most high-profile and successful careers in Classical Music. Chicago Symphony. LA Phil etc. He’s also embracing social media like nobody else. Really Normy. Bitter Betty.

  • Ivan says:

She is very bright and has an excellent work ethic. How she lasted with the CAMI Music crew for as long as she did is a mystery.
