It’s like comparing apples and oranges Norman. This is an outdoor “Hollywood Bowl” style amphitheatre not a concert hall with the facilities being planned for the new hall in London.
Here in the U.S. we spend that kind of money (and MORE!) on sports stadiums. By the way, San Diego’s team has an option to move up the road to LA (because someone is building new digs there).
Speaking of new concert halls/venues, the Oslo Philharmonic together with property developers Anders Buchardt and Petter Stordalen has just posted a video of plans for a new concert hall with congress hotel in Filipstad, Oslo.
