The Aurora Festival at Trollhättan, Sweden, has released video from Kurt’s last performances in August this year.
Barely able to move, he communicates a lifetime of human sympathy and musical understanding.
Rest his soul.

I have seen Kurt Masur many times while he was the conductor of the New York Philharmonic. He never failed to impress both with his musicianship and humanity. He will be missed by all who love great classical music and were honored to be in his presence.

Exactly the way I feel. Thank you for posting these comments.
ARTE has made two concert videos of Kurt Masur and the Gewandhausorchester available (one for the occasion of the 20 year anniversary of the “peaceful revolution” with Renaud Capuçon and another with Anne-Sophie Mutter performing the Mendelssohn violin concerto): http://concert.arte.tv/de/collections/kurt-masur
They also posted an interview with Maestro Masur (first published in 2004) in which you receive an honorable mention, Norman:
