  • Paul Kelly says:

Allen Toussaint didn’t actually write Lady Marmalade. He merely produced it. The Lennon version is wierd, crude and a million miles away from Toussaint’s suave realism.

  • Jan Mancuso says:

One of the most important musical forces and culture weavers has left us. In the opinion of many, Allen’s influence covers more ground than any since Ellington. A gentleman and mighty force.
    Say amen.

  • GGC says:

Great city to die! Another leyend gone…

  • Gary says:

I hope he gets a good send off. He had a great run.
