An orchestra player’s viola is stolen… from a parked car

Ceridwen Davies, who plays in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, had her instrument taken from the locked boot of her parked car in St Kilda West.

She has owned the Carlean Hutchins viola for the whole of her professional career.

I would hope that even someone who doesn’t have to carry an instrument around every day of their working life might comprehend that there are, rarely, occasions when one needs to leave that instrument out of sight in a locked car.
Poor woman – I hope it gets found.
