  • In a season brochure of the opera house in Perth (Australia) it was once advertised that it would be doing Elektra by Johann Straus (sic).

  • I had to smile about this. In 1972, I played in the orchestra for the New York premiere of “Boulevard Solitude,” at the Manhattan School of Music. Anton Coppola conducted and Henze was in attendance.

  • But they have a fancy website. Probably cost a fortune.
    Give the content editing to the interns.
    Who cares about content, it’s all about the wrapping, no?
