Ten years on, orchestra returns to hall wrecked by Hurricane Katrina

The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra returned this week to its former hall in New Orleans, disused since the 2005 storm. The work it chose to reinaugurate the Orpheum Theatre after a $13 million refit is – fittingly – Mahler’s Resurrection.
