The Metropolitan Opera press office have messaged parterre.com that Fabio Sartori has withdrawn from November’s tail-run of Turandot because he no longer wants to sing Calaf.
He will be replaced by Yusif Eyvazov, fiancé of Anna Netrebko.

Don’t hold your breath. Ms. Netrebko is not one of the Chosen. In fact she is one of the Unchosen. Anyone associated with her suffers alongside.
For the record, I’ve yet to hear Yusif Eyvazov. The requested apology has nothing to do with being one of the “chosen” (everyone is entitled to their opinion) but everything to do with meanness and rudeness. Respectfully
