He says his doctors have advised ‘a period of rest to deal with the exhaustion caused from a heavy performance schedule this past season.’

He is to be replaced by Bruce Sledge.

  • Theodore McGuiver says:

Considering he hasn’t been on the scene that long this is a bad sign.

    • B. Hagelauer says:

Whatever. It’s a stressful life and singers are not machines. I wish him all the best. Maybe it’s a good sign that he is learning to take care of himself and take a break when he really needs one.

  • Marg says:

Im sorry to hear this and agree with previous comments. He does big roles, but he is young and new on the scene – good he is taking doctors advice and having a break rather than soldiering on. I wish him the very best.

  • Susan Jordan says:

Hopefully he will mend quickly. It’s a remarkable voice, without a doubt. It’s also a tough profession. Wishing him the best.
