How many choirs are there in Europe? More than 1 million…

A new study by the Voice Project finds more than 37 million people in Europe who are actively engaged in choral singing. That’s 4.5 percent of the continent’s total population.

Send this stat to your nearest politicians next time they suggest cutting music in schools.

    It’s normal for people in Wales to join choirs from school age up and certainly more than 4.5%. What does valorised mean?

      Quite an illiterate blurb, that — the writer does not seem to know what “extradited” means either.
