A noble Carmen has died, aged 98
mainThe Belgian mezzo-soprano Lucienne-Delvaux passed away on June 9th, in her 99th year. A member of the Theatre de la Monnaie in Brussels from 1953 to 1955, she sang one season at the Paris Opéra before returning to live in Belgium, appearing annually in many of the French opera houses well into the 1970s.
