That’s interesting. I don’t recall ever seeing a photo of him smoking.
I have seen only two photos of Mahler smoking. One is at an outdoor party, standing, smoking a cigar. The other is allegedly of him on a New York street in 1910, but hard to tell (IMHO) that it is Mahler.
