    He is the only baton left on the Sony label, because he can give Sony the metaphorical Bangladesh sweat shop prices with his local band. The classical music business has been clueless how to create a sustainable business model. Prices for recordings have not kept up with inflation over the decades. The majors decided decades ago they could make more money by selling cheap to the masses. Now they can’t pay for elaborate productions because the market doesn’t accept cost covering prices. Lose-lose…
