Two sopranos get captioned at Covent Garden

Rosalind used to be an international soprano until she toned it down to mezzo. Her husband added the caption to Fritz’s pic and she gifted it to Eva on the first night. So cool.

Eva: Too f*****g right!!!

Great! I was there first night those 30 years back… Carreras and Rosalind tore up the stage!
So was I & I was also at the first night of this new production. Fantastic singing in both productions
What a lovely change it was (over the last 2 seasons) to know exactly where and when the action was taking place as soon as the curtain rose, instead of having to spend half the opera trying to guess!
eg The crap forced on us in Eugene Onegin, Tristan, Idomeneo to name just three…..
