Sistema founder is rushed to US hospital
mainJose Antonio Abreu, visionary founder of Venezuela’s El Sistema movement and its worldwide subsidiaries, is in hospital in Houston, Texas, reportedly on a ventilator. Abreu, 75, suffers from a longterm health condition. He is now recovering back home in Caracas.
