Matthew T. Mglej stripped naked outside a courthouse in Portland, Oregon, while playing a violin and posting stickers with sayings by that great humanitarian sage of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmedinajad. After due warning, the police took him away.

Mglej, 25, has now filed suit for $1.1 million, alleging unlawful arrest and detention, use of excessive force, malicious prosecution, First Amendment rights violation, cruel and unusual punishment, battery, assault and negligence. Diddums.

Anyone tried this at an orchestral audition?

Perhaps it WAS an orchestral audition!…. : no luck in the first round? ; get arrested and sue

  • Sixtus says:

Perhaps it has been done, but with the screen up in a “blind” audition, nobody could tell!

  • Hank Drake says:

This young man is obviously mentally ill. On the other hand, he appears to be physically fit. But it’s ironic that Portland has an annual naked bike ride, so they apparently allow nudity on some occasions.
