    I have seen a newspaper photo of Shostakovich at a West Ham match during one of his permitted visits ti the UK. I believe he was an avid supporter of the club. He would have been pleased about their recent form.

    Earlier this year I played a composition from Mexican composer Enrico Chapela called “Inguesu!”, which depicts the final match of de FIFA Confederation Cup 1999, when Mexico won over Brasil.
    Interesting piece, even for me who usually doesn’t like contemporary music that much…
