Arvo Pärt collects his ‘Nobel’ prize
mainThe Estonian composer was awarded the Praemium Imperiale in Tokyo today by Japan’s Prince Hitachi.
The prize, worth 110,000 Euros, is sometimes known as the Nobel of the arts.
