Sorry, this is a lot of BS. With the universities and conservatories constantly graduating players for whom there are no gigs, I can assure you that there are many, many able and willing bassists that live withing a day’s drive of Atlanta. Hell, there are almost assuredly some fine non-ASO bassists right there in Atlanta. If any bassist & instrument is being flown in then that is a totally needless expenditure; someone’s buddy must need a vacation.
