Flash: US bans flights to Israel over rocket fears

The Federal Aviation Administration has prohibited U.S. airlines from flying to Ben Gurion International Airport for 24 hours, after a rocket landed about a mile away. Delta Air Lines, United and US Airways have all cancelled flights.

    The ban is over now just as an update (mind you, former mayor Bloomberg promptly got on an El Al flight yesterday and flew out there). And in any case they’ve also made Eilat airport ready for international flights… All best, James
