Author of great Nureyev novel is beaten up in USA
mainColum McCann, whose novel Dancer depicted the inner life of the great Rudolf Nureyev, was taken to hospital in New Haven, Ct., after trying to help a woman who was being attacked.
He’s a good man and a terrific writer. We wish him a swift recovery.
