Every night of the All State Choir conference in Louisville, Kentucky, last February, competitors returned to their Hyatt hotel around 11 pm and graced all 18 floors with the National Anthem. Just watch. hyatt national anthem

    Sorry to sound like a curmudgeon but at 11 p.m. each night? I certainly hope that the competitors occupied all of the rooms or that the hotel told its other guests what would be happening before they booked a room. Some people, including me, go to sleep before 11 p.m., especially if I have early morning meetings.

    Here’s another for those who like it in 3/4 throughout, not too slow, and a nice fly-over flourish at the end. The person conducting (Teddy Abrams) is the new MD in Louisville. It’s his arrangement, too.
