Every night of the All State Choir conference in Louisville, Kentucky, last February, competitors returned to their Hyatt hotel around 11 pm and graced all 18 floors with the National Anthem. Just watch. hyatt national anthem

  • PrewarTreasure says:

I don’t mind admitting, both eyes of this old Brit had misted-over by the second line.

Almost as good as hearing the Welsh in unison at Cardiff Arms Park!

  • Bob Thomas says:

Sorry to sound like a curmudgeon but at 11 p.m. each night? I certainly hope that the competitors occupied all of the rooms or that the hotel told its other guests what would be happening before they booked a room. Some people, including me, go to sleep before 11 p.m., especially if I have early morning meetings.

  • Robert Fitzpatrick says:

Here’s another for those who like it in 3/4 throughout, not too slow, and a nice fly-over flourish at the end. The person conducting (Teddy Abrams) is the new MD in Louisville. It’s his arrangement, too.

  • Greg says:

    Simply amazing and awe inspiring!

  • Allan Green says:

I agree with Prewar Treasure and Greg – absolutely magnificent!
