Computer music pioneer has died

Rainer Boesch, forst professor of computer music at the Paris Conservatoire, has died at 76. A prolific Swiss composer, he worked at  IRCAM (1976–85), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1988) and Stanford University (1992).
