Just in: Dutch Police arrest suspects with 1731 violin
mainTwo men walked into a luthier’s shop in The Hague today, offering to sell a violin. The luthier called police, who arrested them with a 1731Â Landolfi, stolen a week ago in a burglary at Abcoude. The instrument is worth several hundred thousand dollars. Two men are being detained for questioning.
