An adventurous French pianist has died, aged 78

Gérard Frémy, who studied with Henrich Neuhaus at the Moscow Conservatoire and went on to work with Stockhausen and John Cage (pictured), has died at the age of 78. His disciples include  Cédric TiberghienJérôme Ducros and Nicolas Stavy.
