Just in, still dusting: original Elgar score turns up in council clear-out

They were clearing out a council building in Loughborough, Leics, when someone caught sight of a musical score. Luckily, they did not throw it on a skip. It turns out to be the original Carillon Chimes, a memorial for Great War dead, written in July 1923.

    Any more info as to the auction house? Will it be considered a ‘job lot’ or split up into smaller collections, or even individual letters? I’d love to obtain one item for a departing MD but £10k is a bit above my price range!
