And that is the diving line between HuffPo and real media. The job of journalism is to speak truth to power. The role of HuffPo is pet poodle.
Silly me. I thought the job of journalism was to report facts.
Journalists are faced with the daily choice of painstakingly researching stories or writing whatever people tell them. Both approaches pay the same.
There are some strong bloggers on the Huffington Post who do research and challenge government, corporations and the like. They are, alas,rare. If only the entire site met the level of these few….
