The Chinese pianist will play Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor, K.491, on the opening night of Tanglewood, July 6. Nelsons conducts.

It will be Lang Lang’s first live performance since he was invalided out 15  months ago.

We wish him well.

Lang Lang brings more people to classical music than Nelsons, Kaufmann, Opolais, and the Boston Symphony, combined.

Really if you want to attend a circus show, try Fossetts in Bray Co. Wicklow, otherwise Dinu Lipatti is a hard act to follow eg Chopin Walz b minor op 69 no 2.
