Death of a Dutch composer, 90

The distinguished composer and organist Piet Kee died today.

He was organist of St. Bavo church in Haarlem from 1956 to 1989.

    His Schübler Chorales are still, I think, some of the best on record. A shame that his Bach cycle for Chandos never got past vol 4. Still! What a musician.
