From the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra:

With regret, Sheku Kanneh-Mason is unable to perform with LACO in May due to a scheduling conflict.

This should have been his LA debut.

Any chance he got asked to play at the royal wedding of Megan Markle and Prince Harry on May 19 instead? My theory….

  • VMan says:

The LACO concerts were to be on May 9-10, part of the long-announced season. His schedule shows him playing around UK during this period.

Since this was to be his US concert debut, this is a terrible way to begin with a cancellation. Who manages this poor guy anyway?

    • Huge fan says:

He’s not a “poor guy” and he’s brilliantly managed by Enticott Management – Concert was cancelled due to schedule conflict and he will play in LA as soon as possible. It always shocks me how negative people can be when they don’t know the facts, the reasons nor the truth. Please understand that it would have cancelled with deep regret but due to circumstances that had to be adhered to. No one takes a cancellation lightly.

Only one of the most eminent managers in the business…http://www.enticottmusicmanagement.com

  • Rob says:

Maybe he can record the solo part for LA and they can play along to a cd ?

    • Ravi Narasimhan says:

LA audiences are experienced and sophisticated. Such a performance would be completely unacceptable without a life sized cutout of the artist, preferably with articulating joints manipulated in sync with the musics.
