Just in: Hamburg names heir to Jeffrey Tate

The French conductor Sylvain Cambreling is to be the next chief of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, it was announced this morning.

He succeeds Sir Jeffrey Tate, who died last June.

    Yes but the Md’s Nagano, Gilbert and Cambreling are not favourites on this site.
