We hear that Teng Li, principal viola of the Toronto Symphony, has won the audition.

She replaces the expressive Carrie Dennis, who disappeared early last year.

That leaves Toronto with two section vacancies, as Kent Teeple is retiring after 40 years.

Couldn’t agree more with Anthony. Teng Li is a magnificent player and colleague, both virtuoso and intelligent musician. Great news for LA.
