Music professor: ‘Now, about Muslim females…’

An assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music is being investigated for an online class exchange with a student, Fay Alwattari, in which he expressed heated opinions on Muslims in the US, none of them to do with music.

Professor Clifford Adams, who has taught at the college since 2003, said he was unaware the exchange had been released on social media and was unable to comment.

 

CCM Tribunal President Connor Howard said: ‘I’m very disappointed, albeit not surprised, that such an incident has occurred within CCM.’

Some CCM alumni are rallying a petition for Adams to be dismissed. Alt-right groups are lining up behind him. An irascible tutor-student conversation on an off-syllabus topic has got completely out of hand.

    Typical brainwashed nonsense. A professor should know better than the average morons. In reality Islamic terrorist attacks are a very small threat. There a numerous threats which are by several dimensions bigger. But which the gullible public is successfully made to ignore.

    “Now, about Muslim females. As you well know, young Muslim women are murdered by their father or a brother for dating – or for holding hands with – a non-Muslim boy …”

    So called honor killings are very rare. And they are culturally not based in Islam but in archaic tribal traditions. Another case of mistaking correlation with causation. A professor should know better. He is an idiot.

    “Muslim females are safer in America than in any Middle Eastern country. How dare you complain while enjoying our protection!”

    That is also not true. The murder and crime rates in many Middle Eastern countries are in fact lower than the US crime rates. The risk being shot in Chicago is much higher than the risk being shot in Tehran, Beirut or Qatar.

    Sure. And that declaration of independence reads:
    “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

    What a ignorant distorted brain that professor has. Sad.

      Ohhh….because of the crime rate in Chicago is high it´s riskier to live in Chicago then in Muslim countries for muslim women.Laughing my ass off!

        Yes, it’s laughable. It’s also moral relativism – which the heroic Prof. Jordan Peterson says is “an excuse NOT to take responsibility”. Pretty soon I’d expect to hear the good professor sacked because he’s joined the ranks of the tens of millions of other ‘deplorables’ whose views, habits and language are not considered acceptable by the finger-wagging scolds.

        Jordan Peterson also refers to the ‘mask of compassion’ and says referring to these types…, “I’ve got a place to direct my worst impulses!!!. I don’t even have to notice them myself because I’ve got this mask of virtue and so I can let the the demonic forces that make up part of the human psyche … I can let them have carte blanche and then also say that I am virtuous”.

        He’s nailed it. No wonder he’s got millions and millions and millions of supporters.

          He’s nailed it? Maybe his own feet. He talks deranged nonsense. That millions are that deranged by now just like him, still doesn’t make it true or an informed opinion.

          In the end of all of this is it extremely sad to see the Western world go to the dumpster, because some clever small but powerful entities managed to divide the masses along lines such as this post shows. As if Islamic terrorism ever was a big threat in comparison to the actual threats our societies face. Laughable and sad.

            “Very rare”? That must very comforting to the millions killed in the name of your religion every year. Okay, I’ll be nicer, maybe only hundreds of thousands.

    As a jew whose families had fled Hitler 77,78 years ago,i can only insist that Islamism is the worst threat for civilization since Hitler.Nazism of today.The”heroic”deeds of radical islamists on the streets of New York last week.in Paris,Berlin,London et al speak for themselves.I am not the least interested in some ideology,in which pages like this blog and its topics simply wouldn´t exist.I am sick of watching news wasting their time up to 80 percent on islamic issues .Their self importance and prevelance in media is contrary to their political.social,cultural and scientific achievements of the last 800 years.It´s up to them to solve their problems in their respective countries.I am not the least interested in it.

      Problem is, many of their countries have been devastated by the US in fact. Google the term “blowback”. Even if they were to solve their problems in their respective countries, and some did very much so, they were in the end not allowed to, pushed aside by Israel’s regional interest and the US in their global hegemony agenda.
      Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, …
      All these countries were on a good way away from the grip of backward Islam toward a secular society. Until the US intervened, under cover, open war, by any means.
      You reap what you sow…

      It may be helpful to indeed remember this main point in all those discussions. These islamist fascists learned their trade from Western fascism. It is also worth remembering that ‘islamism’ is not Islam as a whole, and that almost all muslems are what you can call normal people. Especially the muslems living in Europe have fears to be treated as the Jews were by the nazis, seeing the neofascist rallies on the news, their fears are like those of the ‘locals’ but with the addition of visions of personally-dedicated concentration camps. I spoke with quite some immigrants living peacefully in the West, expressing their worries, being caught between two entirely irrational forces.

    It’s laughable that people always think it must be a story of good guy vs. bad guy. Why can’t both parties be assholes? Both USA and Islamist are shit. Nazi is a catastrophe for Germany. But the Jews who got hated for centuries aren’t any better as well. It’s just a fight between animals.
