A new entrant for our exclusive list of longest serving orchestral players.

Tommy Zongker joined the double-bass section of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra when he was 16.

He’s still pulling the bow at 81.

    The reference to the Springfield Symphony Orchestra in Massachusetts is a mistake. He must be a member of another Springfield Symphony Orchestra.
